The myDC Control app offers a streamlined interface for remotely accessing internal data from Distech Controls’ ECB series BACnet® and ECL series LONWORKS controllers, when operated within an EC-Net system environment. Additionally, it facilitates direct connection to an ECLYPSE Connected System Controller, enabling a comprehensive standalone solution. The app allows users to quickly view, modify, and configure operating parameters of HVAC systems, with intuitive color-coded icons providing immediate visual cues for alarms and override conditions.

In response to service calls, the app enables remote system overrides, allowing technicians to restore functionality remotely before arriving onsite for maintenance. This capability can lead to more efficient service delivery and reduced downtime. Users can access any ECL, ECB, or ECY series controller from their mobile device regardless of location.

The application supports time-saving features such as testing connected sensors and actuators during commissioning, thereby reducing setup duration. It provides access to a broad spectrum of internal controller functions, including:

• Viewing active alarm lists and, on certain BACnet controllers, detailed alarm information for swift diagnosis and acknowledgment.
• Viewing, adjusting, and overriding input/output values directly on site to verify equipment operation and troubleshoot effectively.
• Managing a customizable list of favorites for rapid access to frequently used parameters.

The app also diminishes the necessity for onsite visits, consequently lowering associated costs in terms of time and travel. Multi-user access management is incorporated, supporting two levels of permissions: view-only access or combined view and modify privileges.
